Who are we?

We are a group of people, most of us allergic to latex, but also relatives, friends and sympathizers, with different occupations (doctors, nurses, dentists, cleaning staff, medical assistants, engineers, geology graduates, food handling staff, children and young people with an occupation still to be determined). Since as individuals we are unable to improve our quality of life being allergic to latex, we have joined in order to find and give solutions to all the problems we have as having the condition of latex allergy in any scope of our lives: at school, at work, at a social scope, at the health system, when practicing sports, at shopping, at recreational activities, and so on and so forth.

In order to do so, we collaborate with educational, labour and health national, autonomous regional as well as local authorities, demanding them to adopt the necessary measures so as not to be discriminated against in any situation only because we are allergic to latex.

We contact and cooperate with commercial companies (toy, health material, make up, food, shopping centres, school material, sport material companies) to obtain product certificates in which they specify whether the product has or does not have latex, so as to give information to the people in charge and that they make easier the change of policy to companies, etc.

We keep contact with organizations both from inside and outside of Spain, who pursue the same aims that we do, that is that our quality of life is not damaged by being allergic to latex.
